Working in close partnership with the Nursing / Therapy team, will be expected to work with Registered Nursing Associate who will deliver compassionate, professional, skilled and effective person center , evidence based nursing care . the candidate will work within a multidisciplinary team , developing collaborative, needs based care plans through assessment, plaining , implementation and evaluation. we offer a friendly working environment with a compassionate team who will support your individual learning needs to develop you as an effective staff nurse , which we offer induction package for your learning pathway.

Detailed job description and main responsibilities
Nursing Associates will work independently but with the support and leadership of Registered Nurses, to support the delivery of patient centred care and provide compassionate, safe and high quality, effective care to a designated case load of patients within defined clinical area (Gallery ward).
Nursing Associates will provide holistic care and support for patients and their relatives / carers across the sphere of nursing and will communicate effectively at all times within the team and the wider multidisciplinary team.
Working in close partnership with the Nursing / Therapy team, the Nursing Associate will be expected to:
Deliver high quality, compassionate care under the direction of a Registered Nurse, with a focus on promoting health and independence
Have attitudes and behaviors in line with organisational and NHS Values
Be an accountable professional
Work as part of a designated clinical team delivering care which is focused on the direct needs of the individual
Have the ability to work without direct supervision, at times delivering care independently in line with the patients defined plan of care, within the parameters of practice of the Nursing Associate role, accessing clinical and care advice when needed and appropriate.
- Registered Nursing Associate on NMC Register
- Minimum one year experience post Registration
- Experience (through placement or employment of working in an acute environment)
- Experience of working with patient with medical/ surgical/ elderly / rehab ward
- Venepuncture skills
You must have appropriate UK professional registration.
The postholder will have access to vulnerable people in the course of their normal duties and as such this post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975 (Amendment) (England and Wales) Order 2020 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service to check for any previous criminal convictions.
